Chords Workshop B: Chord Progressions. Oct 22 Saturday 1-3:30 PM at Good Day Ukulele studio (near Olbrich Gardens, East Madison). We'll learn how to recognize repeating chord-sequences / progressions. Seeing these sequences and how they are common across all song keys has many benefits. It helps you remember songs more easily, begin to play "by ear", change keys to fit your voice, play with other musicians, write your own songs, and figure out chords to your favorite songs. Half of the workshop is spent explaining chord progressions; the other half practicing progressions together in songs. We'll take a 20 minute break to stretch, discuss new ideas with each other, and build community. PDF slides are provided, so note-taking is NOT necessary. Please bring a ukulele and tuner.
